About the Railroad:
Bill Drummond's layout saw its first train movement in 1977 as a single SD7 traveled back and forth over a few feet of track. By 2020 Bill's railroad had grown to over 800 feet of mainline wondering from room to room in the upstairs of his home. Though his layout followed the route of the real BR&P Railway, Bill explains that his railroad was named the "Bradford, Ridgway & Punxsutawney" even though he didn't include Ridgway in his layout plan.
A founding member of the NMRA Mid Central Region Division 11, Bill shared his railroad and knowledge with multiple generations of model railroaders.
Finding ourselves lucky enough to call Bill a Friend, we honor his memory with this Heritage Series decal set for Bill's BR&P - sometimes known as "The Railroad that Ate Bill's House."
